Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with Maldivian political leaders, including from the main opposition Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP), on Saturday, on day two of his two-day state visit to the Maldives. The meeting with MDP officials, which was held separately, was attended by the party’s president Abdulla Shahid and chairperson Fayyaz Ismail.
