Maldives Development Alliance (MDA) President and Dh. Meedhoo MP Ahmed Siyam Mohamed on Monday called on the Maldivian people to abandon all unpleasant and irreligious practices and return wholeheartedly to the principles of Islam. In his address marking the beginning of the Hijri New Year, Siyam said the profound lessons of the noble journey of Hijra remain essential for Muslims today.
