Mahzoom meets Vilimale’ residents as part of Male’ mayoral campaign

Abdulla Mahzoom Majid had a campaign day in Vilimale’ on Saturday, as part of his campaign for Male’ City Mayor.

Mahzoom, who is running for mayor on behalf of the Maldives Development Alliance (MDA), described his campaign event as “fruitful.”

He posted on X that he met with many residents, listened closely to their concerns, and shared r practical solutions to the issues they face.

“The enthusiasm for a young, corruption free leadership is growing stronger,” he said.

Mahzoom concluded his visit to Vilimale’ with iftar with his campaign team.

Mahzoom, who announced his candidacy for the Male’ mayoral race in December last year, previously stated that the biggest issue facing the Maldivian capital is not a lack of resources, but the weaking of the city’s management due to corruption.

He has promised to stamp out corruption and boost trade and standard of living for Male’ residents.
