Meedhoo mourns veteran community leader Sidheeq Ali

Sidheeq Ali, 68, of Saya, Dh. Meedhoo, has passed away after many years of dedicated service to his island and atoll. Following a prolonged battle with illness, he passed away this Tuesday. Sidheeq was widely respected for his contributions to Meedhoo’s development and social sector. He served in government for 31 years, during which he held the posts of Meedhoo Island Chief
