Migrant worker arrested following violent altercation in Foakaidhoo

A migrant worker has been arrested for stabbing another migrant worker in a violent altercation in Sh. Foakaidhoo.

The incident was reported to the police at approximately 07:10 pm on Saturday.

According to the police, the violent altercation took place between two migrant workers, during which one of them injured the other using a sharp-edged weapon.

The migrant worker who used the weapon, identified as a 43-year-old Bangladeshi male, has been arrested by the police.

The suspect has been remanded in custody of the police for 15 days.

The case is under further investigation of the police.
