Bangladesh man’s stabbing: Another Bangladeshi arrested

A 28-year-old man has been apprehended in connection with a violent stabbing with a sharp-edged weapon in Male’ that saw a Bangladeshi national sustain serious neck injuries.

The Police, on Saturday night, said authorities were notified at around 1:08am last night after 38-year-old Bangladeshi man was brought to ADK Hospital with stab wounds from a sharp-edged weapon.

On Sunday morning, the Police confirmed a suspect was taken into custody last night under a court order. The suspect was identified as a 28-year-old Bangladeshi national.

Reports circulating on social media indicate that the victim sustained critical injuries to his neck during an altercation inside a café on Karankaa Magu in the Henveiru district.

The Police confirmed that the incident occurred on Karankaa Magu and stated that a formal investigation into the matter is currently underway.
