Man injured in stabbing outside Male’ café

A young man was hospitalized early Thursday after getting stabbed outside a café in Henveiru district of Male’ City.

A police spokesperson said the incident was reported to the authority at around 00:37 am Thursday.

According to the police, the victim, identified as a 30-year-old male, was attacked with a sharp-edged weapon outside the Charcoal Café located in Lonuziyaaraih Magu.

He is being treated at the ADK Hospital.

“This case is under investigation,” said the police spokesperson.

The police have not disclosed any details, including the extent of injuries to the victim.
