Motorcyclist in critical condition after falling on rock revetment

A man has been critically injured in an accident at Hithadhoo Port area in Addu City this Sunday.

The man, identified as a 47-year-old Maldivian male, had been driving his motorcycle when he fell and hit the rock revetment at the coast.

The police confirm the man is in critical condition and is being treated at the intensive care unit of Hithadhoo Regional Hospital.

Arrangements are underway to transport him to Male’ City for further treatment.

Meanwhile, the police have launched an investigation into the accident which resulted in the injury.
