Another accident in Hulhumale' Phase II leaves one injured

One person was injured in a collision between two motorcycles in Hulhumale' Phase II.

Police said the two-motorcycle collision occurred at the intersection of Nirolhu Magu and Nikagus Magu in Hulhumale' Phase II at around 8:11 pm on Wednesday evening.

One person sustained a cut across his right foot in the accident, but no serious injuries were reported, according to police.

Police are investigating the incident.

Major accidents have become increasingly common in the city in recent days.

Two elderly people were injured in a bus-motorcycle collision near Dharubaaruge on Male'’s ring road earlier this evening.

In addition, two children died in two horrifying incidents within the span of a week in Hulhumale', a nine-year-old girl who died in a road accident, and a two-year-old girl who fell to her death from the twelfth floor of a building.
