FDC installs bins, bans bulky waste dumping

Dustbins have been placed in FDC‑managed flats in Hulhumale' while residents continue to dump large waste items despite the prohibition. Fahi Dhiriulhun Corporation (FDC) has installed dustbins in flats in Hulhumalé. On Wednesday, FDC placed dustbins in 32 towers for the disposal of ordinary household waste. The corporation said bottles, cardboard boxes and any other type of garbage that does not fall under
