One person injured in motorcycle-car collision on Sinamale' Bridge

A car and a motorcycle collided on the Sinamale' Bridge on Sunday night.

Police said in a statement that the accident occurred at around 7:01pm, involving a car and a motorcycle travelling on the bridge. The motorcyclist was taken to Hulhumale' Hospital and was not seriously injured.

Both the motorcycle and the car sustained various damages, according to police.

Police said they are investigating the incident.

There have been several dangerous accidents recently on the Sinamale' Bridge and Highway. Numerous accidents also occur daily in the city area. According to police statistics, 2,100 accidents have been reported so far this year.
