Three injured in dangerous Sosun Magu accident; one driver unlicensed

Three people were injured and are receiving treatment at hospital after a two-vehicle collision on Sosun Magu in Male City early Monday morning.

Police said the accident was reported at around 01:12 am, involving a collision between two motorcycles on Sosun Magu.

Three people sustained various injuries in the crash: two men aged 21 and 22, and a 26-year-old woman. According to police, the woman is being treated at ADK Hospital, while the two men are being treated at IGMH.

Police also confirmed that the 21-year-old driver of one of the motorcycles did not have a road vehicle driving license.

The incident is under further investigation.

Accidents occur daily in the city area. According to police statistics, 2,100 accidents have been reported so far this year.
