Pickup carrying trash flips on Sinamale’ bridge

A pickup carrying trash flipped on Sinamale’ bridge this morning while on the way to Hulhumale’.

In a statement to the media, the Police said the accident was reported at approximately 9:45am this morning. The authority detailed that the vehicle flipped after one of its tires burst, causing the driver to lose control and collide with the bridge’s safety fencing.

While no injuries were reported in this incident, the Police is currently conducting further investigations.

Footage of the accident has been circulating on social media, showing the large pickup truck flipped on the bridge. It also shows traffic police officers active at the scene, where a significant amount of waste had spilled across the roadway.
