Out-of-control motorbike crashes into a pharmacy’s window

An out-of-control motorbike crashed into a pharmacy’s window on Thursday.

Police told Sun that the accident took place in capital Male’ City’s Hithahfinivaa Magu. A video taken after the motorbike crashed into the pharmacy’s window is currently viral on social media.

According to the Police, the accident was reported to the authority at approximately 13:00pm on Thursday afternoon.

The driver of the motorbike sustained a cut in the accident, however, no one sustained serious injuries.

The Police said investigations so far indicate that the crash was a result of the motorbike colliding with another motorbike. In this regard, the Police detailed that the driver accidentally gripped the throttle in an attempt to stop the vehicle which led to it going out of control resulting it to crash into the pharmacy’s window.

There is an alarming level of accidents in the greater Male’ area with 40 accidents reported just between October 5^th and 12^th. They include eight accidents involving collisions between two motorbikes.
