Zakat Scholarship to resume after seven-year break

Islamic Minister Dr. Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed, on Wednesday, has announced the resumption of Zakat Scholarship after a seven-year break. The scholarship award ceremony will be held on Saturday, August 16th. Minister Shaheem said this would mark the highest number of higher education scholarships being awarded in Islamic fields in the history of Maldives. “This time around, scholarships will be awarded for higher
