JSC vice-president Yazmeed resigns

Judicial Service Commission (JSC) Vice-President Yazmeed Mohamed has resigned. Yazmeed serves on the commission as the President’s representative. He was elected to the post on October 23, 2025. Yazmeed contested the 20th parliamentary elections for the Villingili constituency on the ruling PNC ticket. The seat was won by independent candidate Azim Abdul Aziz, who later joined the PNC. Yazmeed was appointed as JSC vice-president
