Velidhoo house fire leaves 8 displaced

A fire broke out in a house in Velidhoo, Noonu Atoll on Tuesday afternoon, leaving eight residents temporarily displaced. Velidhoo Council President Athif Hussain told Sun that the incident occurred between 13:00 and 13:30 hours. The house, which accommodates eight people including a child, was unoccupied at the time of the fire. The blaze has since been extinguished. Preliminary observations suggest the
