The Visit Maldives or the Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) officially kicked off the ‘The World’s Biggest Giveaway’ on Wednesday - a campaign featuring 52 free holidays - one for each week of this year.
The campaign – the Visit Maldives’ largest global campaign for 2025 – was announced on November 5 on the sidelines of the World Travel Mart (WTM) London.
According to Visit Maldives, this year-long initiative will award 52 free holidays, one for each week of the year.
The campaign will unfold through a series of monthly social media contests on Visit Maldives' platforms.
Through a series of monthly social media contests, four lucky winners will get the chance to win exciting raffle prizes each month, one for each week.
According to Visit Maldives, each contest from these 52 will highlight a different aspect of the Maldives, from its pristine beaches and crystal-clear waters to its vibrant culture and diverse marine life, with special focus on the different segments such as romance, luxury, family, diving and other appealing segments that the island destination offers.
“This is the perfect opportunity to discover the Maldives and to promote the Sunny Side of Life as a year-round destination. Anyone from anywhere in the world can participate in this giveaway for the chance to win a dream vacation in the Maldives,” said Ibrahim Shiuree, the CEO and Managing Director of MMPRC, at the campaign’s November soft launch.
According to Visit Maldives, the main objectives of ‘The World’s Biggest Giveaway’ campaign is to increase global awareness of the Maldives as a premier travel destination by attracting a community of travel enthusiasts through active social media participation.
It further aims to provide potential visitors with valuable information about the Maldives' diverse tourism offerings.
Visit Maldives invites people around the world to participate in this giveaway for a chance to explore the Maldives' unique attractions, learn about the various experiences it offers, and promote Maldives as a destination year-round.
