Food prices in the Maldivian capital rose by nearly 6 percent in July compared to the same period last year, with the prices of meat products alone increasing by over 21 percent. The Essential Commodities Price Index (ECPI) report released by the Maldives Bureau of Statistics show the overall prices of essential commodities rose by 6.07 percent in July, compared to
