MDA, on 12th anniversary, affirms commitment to advocate for the rights of citizens

Maldives Development Alliance (MDA)’s President, Meedhoo MP Ahmed Siyam Mohamed has provided full assurance of the party’s resolve to remain committed to advocating for the rights of the citizens honestly and sincerely.

He gave the assurance in a statement commemorating the 12^th anniversary of the party.

Siyam, in his statement, extended facilitations on the occasion to MDA’s National Council members, general members and everyone who supports the party.

He noted that MDA was incepted to safeguard the rights of the people and contribute to the nation’s development. As such, Siyam said the party was able to remain true to this goal due to the trust and support the public has placed in the party.

Siyam provided full assurance that the party will continue to strongly uphold the values it had upheld since inception. He also provided full assurance of the party’s resolve to remain committed to advocating for the rights of the people honestly and sincerely.

Siyam also conveyed gratitude for all individuals who have supported the party over the past 12 years and the efforts they have undertaken and are undertaking to further develop the party.

“I sincerely pray to almighty Allah to bless this party, all its members and the Maldivian nation with prosperity,” he added.

MDA was incepted 12 years ago, on December 20^th, 2012.

The party presently represents two constituencies in the Parliament and is undertaking efforts to further boost its membership.
