Thinadhoo accident: Teen undergoing treatment at ADK Hospital for skull fracture

The teenager who was seriously injured in a collision between two motorbikes in GDh. Thinadhoo on Sunday has been brought to ADK Hospital in Male’ City for further treatment.

A family member of the teenager told Sun that he had sustained a skull fracture in the accident and injuries to the face.

“There is skin abrasion in the mouth area. The doctor reported severe damage to the bones internally. Subsequently, he is unable to talk even if he tries. Does not have that much strength either,” the family member detailed.

The family member said no further details of the injuries are available at the moment.

“Doctors have to run further tests to know,” the family member added.

The accident took place outside the Abubakr School on Sunday evening. 

Two people sustained injuries in the accident. The second person was an elderly man whose injuries were not severe.
