ADK: Condition of man injured in workshop fire improving

ADK Hospital, on Thursday, has stated the condition of the man injured in the fire which broke out in a workshop in Male’ City last night is improving.

According to Police, the fire in the workshop, located on Raiyvilla Magu, was reported to police at 08:46 pm.

The man injured in the fire was identified as a 25-year-old. He was first treated at ADK Hospital’s Emergency Room (ER).

Speaking to Sun on Thursday morning, ADK Hospital’s Managing Director Ahmed Afaal said that the man’s condition is improving. He detailed that the man had been transferred to ward, where he is now being treated.

“The man injured in the incident is now stable. He is being treated in the ward. He had second degree burns to an extent,” Afaal has said.

However, further details regarding the extent of his injuries were not disclosed.

Police said that the case is under further investigation.
