MTCC completes V. Felidhoo harbor construction project

The harbor construction project of V. Felidhoo has been completed by Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC).

The project was completed on July 30. The initial agreement for the project was signed on September 5, 2019, and is worth MVR 5.18 million.

Under the project, a 61-meter long seawall was constructed while a coastline of 126 meters was also constructed. Harbor lighting work as well as 600 meters of pavement and a 200 meter revetment was also constructed by MTCC under the project in Felidhoo.

The official work of the project was commenced in February 2020. 

MTCC completed 14 projects within the second quarter of 2020 while commencing work on eight more. 

Completed projects include coastal protection project of K. Thilafushi, Harbor construction of A. A. Himandhoo, coastline construction of G. A. Kanduhulhudhoo, harbor construction of G. A. Villingili, Sub-base construction of G. Dh. Thinadhoo and L. Gan football stadiums, passenger terminal project, and harbor construction of G. Dh. Maavarulu as well as the coastal protection project of A. A. Rasdhoo.
