Dry docking facility to be developed for large vessels

Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has announced that efforts are underway to develop a dry docking facility capable of repairing and servicing large vessels, including its trailing suction hopper dredger, 'Mahaa Jarraafu'. According to the company, this project is a pivotal strategic initiative aimed at diversifying revenue streams and reducing foreign currency expenditure on overseas maintenance.
