EyeCare, Maldives' leading eye care provider, has entered into an official partnership with ZEISS, a globally recognized leader in optical science, becoming the country's exclusive "ZEISS Vision Expert."
According to the company, the partnership represents a significant milestone in EyeCare's continued commitment to delivering world-class eye care services and advanced lens technology to the Maldivian public. Through the collaboration, customers across the Maldives will gain access to internationally recognized, personalized eye care solutions tailored to their individual needs.
The partnership was officially unveiled during a special ceremony held last night at EyeCare's main hospital in Malé. The event featured demonstrations of the latest advancements in optical technology and was attended by healthcare professionals, business leaders, and members of the media.
Health Minister Geela Ali officially inaugurated the "ZEISS VISUFIT" digital machine during the ceremony. The state-of-the-art device employs 3D scanning technology to support frame selection by providing highly accurate measurements and enhancing overall visual comfort.
EyeCare also announced that premium ZEISS lenses, specifically developed to help reduce eye strain associated with today's digital lifestyles, are now available at its outlets.
Commenting on the partnership, EyeCare Managing Director Dr. Zahir stated that one of the company's primary objectives is to provide Maldivians with access to the same advanced technologies available in developed countries. He added that the integration of ZEISS innovations would deliver customers a distinctive and enhanced service experience.
Similarly, Rohan Paul, Head of Vision Care at ZEISS India, expressed his pleasure in partnering with EyeCare, describing it as a trusted name in the Maldivian healthcare sector. He noted that the collaboration would contribute to raising the standard of eye care services in the Maldives.
