Visit Maldives Corporation (VMC) has launched the public testing phase of its new platform for content creators.

VMC said the opportunity allows creators and tourism stakeholders to experience the platform before its official launch.

“Creatoll” is a dedicated marketplace designed to connect local and international content creators with tour operators, brands and global audiences. According to VMC, the platform enables creators to showcase and license content that reflects authentic Maldivian experiences.

Over the past month, Creatoll was tested internally and opened to a select group of creators. Based on feedback received during that period, VMC made several improvements to the platform.

These include simplifying the content‑upload process, improving navigation, and enhancing the overall user experience.

VMC has invited content creators, photographers, videographers and tourism stakeholders to participate in the public beta before the platform is opened to all users. Feedback collected during this phase will play a key role in further developing and refining the platform, the corporation said.

“Creatoll is taking shape with the feedback and consultation of its users. This beta phase will allow creators to experience the platform’s features and help us enhance it further. We encourage participation from all stakeholders to build a platform that aligns with the needs of both creators and content users,” said Visit Maldives CEO Ibrahim Shiuree.

VMC said the platform already features a range of visual content showcasing Maldivian culture, natural beauty and everyday life.

The platform is designed as a central hub for Maldives storytelling, supporting local creators seeking international exposure as well as visiting creators producing Maldives‑focused content.

Creators and interested parties can visit Creatoll, log in using professional or business credentials, and explore the platform’s features. VMC said the public beta is limited to the first 30 registrants, who are encouraged to upload content, navigate the site, test marketplace functions and provide feedback based on their experience.

The corporation said the insights gathered will be instrumental in making further improvements ahead of the platform’s official launch.
