Government offices will reopen on Monday after closure for a long holiday for the last 10 days of Ramadan and the Eid al-Fitr holidays.
According to the President's Office, although government offices are set to reopen, official working hours for the upcoming week will remain the same with those observed during the month of Ramadan. This measure has been implemented to facilitate ease for individuals observing the six days of fasting in Shawwal.
Accordingly, the official working hours for the first seven days of the month of Shawwal have been set from 9:00am to 13:00pm. During this period, all government institutions will provide services within these four hours throughout the coming week.
Following the conclusion of this seven-day period, official government working hours will revert to the standard schedule of 8:00am to 14:00pm.
