Police recover stolen phones, TV and other items in Addu and return them to owners

Police have recovered several stolen items reported in Addu City and returned them to their owners.

According to a social media update by Addu City Police on Monday, the items were recovered in connection with theft cases reported to Hithadhoo Police between January 24 and February 15.

The recovered items include three mobile phones, a television, electrical appliances and a bicycle, all of which have now been handed over to their rightful owners.

Addu City Police urged the public not to buy items suspected to be stolen, and to report anyone attempting to sell such goods. Information can be shared with Hithadhoo Police by calling 9791612.

Police also expressed appreciation for the cooperation extended by the public in assisting the investigation.
