Man discovered dead inside Maafannu home

A man has been discovered dead in a home in Male’ City’s Maafannu district.

A Police Spokesperson said the dead body inside a home in Dhakandhaa Magu was reported to the authority at approximately 13:01pm on Friday afternoon.

The deceased has been identified as 54-year-old Mohamed Nizar, Thoathaa Paree, S. Hulhudhoo.                   

The Police Police have stated that, based on the investigation conducted so far, there is no evidence of foul play or involvement of any other individual in the death, and no suspicious criminal activity has been identified.

However, authorities said that investigations are ongoing to gather further details and clarify the circumstances surrounding the incident.

In line with standard police procedures in such cases, the body of the deceased has been transported to the hospital.
