Two men arrested in Kulhudhuffushi with 14 rubber packets of suspected drugs

Two men have been arrested in Kulhudhuffushi City in connection with a drug case.

Police identified the suspects as Mohamed Shakir, 47, of H.Dh. Hanimaadhoo/Nasru, and Mohamed Ibrahim, 38, of H.Dh. Kulhudhuffushi/Moonreef.

According to police, 13 rubber packets containing suspected drugs were recovered from Mohamed Ibrahim, while one packet was recovered from Mohamed Shakir.

A court has remanded Mohamed Ibrahim in custody for seven days, and Mohamed Shakir for five days.

Police said the case remains under investigation.
