Suspected ‘drug café’ in Fuvahmulah closed down

Fuvahmulah Magistrate Court has ordered to close down a premises suspected of providing drug services in Fuvahmulah City on “café” basis. According to the Maldives Police Service, the court order targets a specific part of Gulisthaanuge in Funaadu district of Fuvahmulah City. Authorities suspect the location is being utilized to traffic and sell narcotics, as well as operating as a venue
