Tree Top Hospital.
Treetop Hospital has launched a special campaign offering a 15 percent discount on its cervical cancer screening package, as part of efforts to raise awareness and encourage early detection.
The promotion, which runs from January 19 to 25, aims to reduce financial barriers and make screening more accessible for women who may have delayed check‑ups for various reasons.
Treetop Hospital noted that cervical cancer, while a serious health risk, is highly preventable when detected early. The campaign is designed to support long‑term women’s health and aligns with international and national guidelines recommending regular screening.
The discounted package includes key tests used to assess cervical health. The hospital urged women who require routine screening, as well as those with concerns about the disease, to take advantage of the opportunity.
Appointments under the promotion can be booked through Treetop Hospital’s usual communication channels.
While there is no evidence of a recent rise in cervical cancer cases in the Maldives, the disease remains one of the most common cancers among Maldivian women, with 46 new cases and 24 deaths reported annually.
