Tree Top Hospital to conduct second multi‑specialty health camp of 2026 in Laamu Gan

Tree Top Hospital will conduct its second multi‑specialty health camp of the year in L. Gan from 19–20 June.

Organised in collaboration with Laamu Atoll Regional Hospital, the camp aims to give residents of nearby islands, as well as resort employees in the region, the opportunity to pre‑register and consult specialist doctors without having to travel to the capital.

The camp will be led by a team of seven specialist consultants from Tree Top Hospital:

• Dr. Moosa Manik – Cardiology  

• Dr. Pankaj Patawari – Endocrinology  

• Dr. Chandrashekar Rawal – ENT  

• Dr. Ibrahim Moomin – General Surgery  

• Dr. Mohamed Habeeb & Dr. Ali Muznee – Orthopedics  

• Dr. Nazmy Latheef – Pulmonology  

• Dr. Mehmet Oder – Urology  

In addition to specialist consultations, the camp will include health screening and health education activities to promote early detection and prevention of disease.

As part of Tree Top Hospital’s efforts to strengthen healthcare capacity in the atolls, a special training session will be held for nurses of Laamu Atoll Regional Hospital, offering opportunities for professional development and knowledge‑sharing with TTH specialists. A health awareness session will also be conducted for students in Gan to encourage healthy lifestyles and spark interest in healthcare careers.

Tree Top Hospital said the primary objective of the camp is to deliver high‑quality healthcare services to communities across the Maldives, improve access to specialist care, and support the continued development of healthcare professionals in the region.
