Tree Top Fertility Centre marks 3rd anniversary with free specialist consultations

Tree Top Hospital’s Fertility Centre has launched a free fertility consultation campaign to mark the third anniversary of the service.

The hospital said the limited‑time “Free Fertility Consultation” campaign aims to raise public awareness on fertility health and encourage individuals and couples to seek early medical advice when facing fertility challenges. Registration for the promotion opened Thursday, with consultations to be offered from June 13–17.

A total of 130 consultation slots will be available under the campaign. The offer includes one free initial consultation with a fertility specialist, along with any follow‑up consultation related to that visit. However, investigations, laboratory tests, scans, medications, or procedures recommended by the specialist will be charged at standard hospital rates. No insurance claims, including Aasandha, will be processed under the promotion.

Tree Top Hospital’s Fertility Centre, inaugurated on 29 May 2023, is the first facility in the Maldives to offer IVF services locally. In its three years of operation, the centre has achieved several milestones, including facilitating the birth of the first Maldivian baby conceived through IVF and celebrating the birth of the 100th IVF baby at the hospital.

The centre provides a full range of fertility services, including fertility assessments, investigations, treatment planning, IVF, IUI, and ongoing reproductive health support. Care is delivered by a multidisciplinary team of specialists: Dr. Anita Gaur, Dr. Zakiya Ahmed, and Dr. Varsha Rengaraj.
