Fenaka: 1,392 staff hired, 400 dismissed

Fenaka Corporation has reported that it has hired over 1,000 staff and dismissed around 400 employees since the current administration took office. The company faced significant corruption allegations during former president Ibrahim Mohamed Solih’s administration and was in a financially precarious position, burdened with substantial debts. At the end of former president Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayyoom’s administration, Fenaka had approximately 2,000 employees.
