Customs have seized methamphetamine worth more than MVR 1.8 million that was smuggled into the Maldives by air. According to Customs, the drugs were seized last Sunday at Velana International Airport (VIA). The confiscated substance weighed 941 grams, with a street value exceeding MVR 1.8 million, Customs said.
