CCO Niyaz takes over Ooredoo’s social media duty on Customer Day

Chief Commercial Officer Hussain Niyaz took over Ooredoo Maldives’ social media duty on Tuesday, as the company celebrated Customer Day with direct engagement across touchpoints.

On Tuesday, the management team and employees of Ooredoo Maldives stepped beyond their offices, and met customers across various touchpoints including experience centers, retail outlets, and service partner locations to personally connect, listen, and gather valuable feedback to further enhance customer experiences.

Meanwhile, Niyaz, the company’s CCO, stepped out of the comfort of his office and personally answered queries from customers and listened to their concerns as he took over social media engagement.

According to Ooredoo, its Customer Day is a nod to its commitment to delivering five-star service to its customers.

The initiative encouraged staff from all departments to engage directly with customers, gaining firsthand insights into their needs, expectations, and ideas.

“Our customers are at the heart of everything we do. Customer Day is an opportunity for us to step into their world, listen, and understand how we can serve them better,” reads a statement released by Ooredoo. “This direct engagement strengthens our connection with the people we serve and helps us build a more customer-centric future.”

Ooredoo said that this year’s Customer Day theme, “Digitally Yours: Elevating Customer Experiences,” reflects Ooredoo’s vision to leverage technology and empathy to deliver seamless, personalized, and reliable services across every touchpoint.

Throughout the day, Ooredoo’s employees joined hands across all levels from frontliners to executives to celebrate the people who make the company’s journey meaningful, reaffirming their commitment to providing exceptional service and continuously evolving its products and experiences to meet the dynamic needs of Maldivian customers.
