Ooredoo partners with Mastercard to offer chance to win a Malay trip for two

A simple Ooredoo payment could take you all the way to Malaysia.

As part of its 21st anniversary celebrations, Ooredoo Maldives has launched a Mastercard Giveaway, giving customers the chance to win return tickets to Malaysia for two.

Running from August 1 – September 30, the promotion rewards eligible Ooredoo prepaid and postpaid mobile customers who make Mastercard payments of MVR 400 or more on Ooredoo SuperApp, with every qualifying transaction earning entry into the lucky draw.

The more transactions, the more chances to win.

Ooredoo states that customers who make a one-time Mastercard payment of at least MVR 400 via the Ooredoo App will receive one entry into the draw.

Those who pay using a saved Mastercard will receive two entries, while customers who make their payment through AutoPay using Mastercard will receive five entries per qualifying transaction.

Customers can also accumulate multiple entries by completing multiple eligible transactions throughout the promotion.

More convenience, more chances with AutoPay

For customers looking to maximize their chances, AutoPay provides the easiest way to participate while also simplifying regular Ooredoo payments.

Available through the Ooredoo App, AutoPay allows customers to securely save their payment card and schedule automatic transactions for a preferred date. Instead of having to remember to make recurring payments manually, customers can set up AutoPay and have eligible transactions processed automatically.

During the Mastercard Giveaway, every qualifying AutoPay payment of MVR 400 or more made using Mastercard earns five entries, compared to two entries for a saved-card payment and one entry for a one-time card payment.

Customers who need assistance with Ooredoo services can also connect with Evee, Ooredoo’s AI-powered digital assistant, making it easier to access information and support through Ooredoo’s digital channels.

At the end of the promotional period, Ooredoo will conduct a lucky draw among eligible customers, with one winner receiving return tickets to Malaysia for two people.

To qualify, customers must have an active service with no pending accrued payments at the time of the lucky draw. Tourist and Mobile Broadband plans are excluded from the promotion.
