Ooredoo Maldives has enabled customers to subscribe to Truecaller Premium directly through the Ooredoo app, following an exclusive partnership with the global caller identification and spam protection platform.
The multinational telecom operator said the integration allows customers to access Truecaller’s premium features more conveniently, with subscription fees added to postpaid bills or deducted from prepaid credit. The service is available through Holhuashi on the Ooredoo app.
Ooredoo described Truecaller as the world’s leading app for caller identification and protection against spam and fraudulent calls, an issue that has seen a steady rise globally and in the Maldives. The company said the advanced features of Truecaller Premium will help customers take greater control of unwanted calls and messages.
The premium features include:
Advanced spam and scam protection: Real‑time blocking of fraudulent, harassing and nuisance calls and SMS messages.
Who viewed my profile: See who has searched for and viewed your Truecaller profile.
Incognito mode: Browse profiles privately without leaving a trace.
Contact requests: Request contact details from other Truecaller users.
Ad‑free experience: Use the app without interruptions.
Premium badge: Display a verified premium profile.

Truecaller’s Vice President for Premium Products, Xavier Trouve, said the partnership makes the service significantly more accessible to Maldivian users.

Truecaller Premium is available to Ooredoo customers for MVR 150 per month through the Ooredoo app. Customers can subscribe by opening the app, navigating to Holhuashi and selecting Truecaller Premium, or by visiting ore.do/holhuashi.
