BML Islamic signs as platinum partner for International Zakat Conference

BML Islamic, the Islamic banking arm of the Bank of Maldives (BML), has signed as the platinum partner for the International Zakat Conference.

The International Zakat Conference 2025 is set to kick off on August 23.

This year's theme, “Zakat for Social Justice and Digital Inclusion: Advancing Social Welfare through Innovation" will bring together international speakers, including policymakers, scholars, practitioners, and innovators, to discuss contemporary issues related to zakat in the modern digital and socio-economic context.

BML is the largest Islamic bank in the Maldives, offering comprehensive suite of products including accounts, cards and financing.

BML Islamic was the first to introduce Islamic overdraft financing, cash financing, hybrid home financing, Islamic debit card and is the only bank providing Shari’ah-compliant credit cards in the Maldives.
