Shamy dismissed as RDC chairperson and SDFC board member

Road Development Corporation (RDC’s) Chairperson Mohamed Shamy Adam, has been dismissed from his post and the company’s board of directors.

In a post on X, Privatization and Corporatization Board (PCB) said Shamy, M. Amazon, has been dismissed from his post as RDC’s chairperson on Sunday.

PCB added that Shamy has also been dismissed from his post as a board member of SME Development Finance Corporation (SDFC).

RDC expressed gratitude to Shamy for his contributions to the company in a post shared on X. The company wished him well on his future endeavors.

PCB did not disclose the reason behind Shamy’s dismissal.

The Board has recently made several changes to various state-owned companies.
