According to separate social media posts published by the PCB, some companies appointed new board members while others saw members removed.

Members appointed to company boards:

  • Shereena Solih: Board Director, Addu International Airport

  • Sa’aadha Ibrahim: Chairman and Board Director, MTCC

Two members were also dismissed by the PCB on Wednesday:

  • Aishath Ali: Board Director, Visit Maldives

  • Aiminath Raisham: Board Director, MPL

In addition, Zaina Abdullah and Ahmed Nasif have been appointed as members of the Board of Directors of Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL).

The PCB has made several board changes in recent weeks without providing reasons.

In April, the Finance Ministry instructed the PCB to reduce staffing levels at state‑owned enterprises by 33 percent.
