Fenaka to discount utility bills this Ramadan as well

Fenaka Corporation has also announced a discount on utility bills this Ramadan in line with a decision by President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu.

Fenaka has unveiled four ways the corporation will apply discounts on both water and electricity bills this Ramadan.

In this regard, discounts will be applied to the difference between the Ramadan bill and the average bills from previous months, excluding February, March, and April, which were the warmest months last year.

If the difference between the Ramadan bill and the average bill of the previous nine months is no less than 10 percent, a 10 percent discount will be applied. This discount will also apply even if the Ramadan bill is lower than the average of the previous months.

Additionally, new customers receiving water and electricity services this Ramadan will also be eligible for a 10 percent discount on their Ramadan bill.

As such, Fenaka stated that customers can easily estimate their water and electricity bills in advance, emphasizing that the discounts help prevent the bills from rising excessively.

STELCO has also announced a 10 percent discount on electricity bills for this Ramadan as well.
