Maldives Islamic Bank (MIB) has successfully conducted its first Guesthouse Symposium with over 150 participants.

As per the bank, the event with over 150 participants from guesthouses, associations, supporting businesses, and liveaboards took place at Crossroads Maldives and is aimed to foster collaboration and innovation within the hospitality industry.

The symposium featured three engaging panel discussions, with industry experts sharing their insights and experiences which provided valuable perspectives on current trends and challenges facing the sector.

MIB noted the keynote speech delivered by renowned motivational speaker, Afeef Hussain, as a key highlight of the event which inspired attendees with his thoughts on leadership and resilience in the hospitality industry.

Apart from this, MIB's Managing Director Muffadal Idris Khumri, addressed the audience, emphasizing the importance of collaboration for the future of the guesthouse sector.

MIB states the event proved to be a significant opportunity for networking and exchanging ideas, further strengthening the community among industry stakeholders and expressed commitment to building on this success in future symposiums.
