Fire breaks out at Hulhumale’ café

A fire broke out on Sunday morning at Meltz, a popular café located in Hulhumale’.

A spokesperson from the Maldives National Defense Force (MNDF) said that firefighters from the Hulhumale’ Fire Station had been deployed to respond to the fire at Meltz, which is located in Nirolhu Magu 6, Hulhumale’ Phase I.

The spokesperson later announced that the fire had been extinguished.

There were no casualties.

The cause the fire is unclear at this point.
