Italian military jets land at VIA to refuel

Four Italian military jets landed at Velana International Airport (VIA) on Tuesday afternoon for refueling.

Around 15:15hrs on Tuesday afternoon, loud noises that moved fast above the city grabbed attention of the city's residents.

The military jets were videographed by several locals who witnessed them flying past. The jets made a "technical stop" at VIA after acquiring proper permission.

Generally, in such transits planes and jets stop to refuel or facilitate relaxation for its crew, before embarking to intended destination.

Military jets from various other countries had stopped at VIA for refueling previously as well.
