30-day remand on minor's rape suspect

Court issues 30-day remand on the rape suspect of a 13-year-old minor, reported earlier on May 19, 2024.

Authorities earlier reported they arrested a 27-year-old man as the prime suspect of the case, who was summoned to court on Saturday for remand hearing.

Additionally, court issued a 12-day remand on the 29-year-old man who aided the suspect to flee from the crime.

Police has concealed the details of the island and the identities of the suspects due to the involvement of victimized child.
