PCB announces SOE appointments

Privatization and Corporatization Board (PCB) on Sunday announced the new appointments to 11 state-owned enterprises (SOEs).

PCB announced the names of the individuals it appointed to the SOEs last week.

This includes appointment of the Managing Director to Maldives Fisheries and Ocean Resources Marketing and Promotion Corporation (MFORMPC), along with four board members. They are;

• Ahmed Zareer - Managing Director
• Munshida Ibrahim - Member
• Ahmed Shifaz - Member
• Ahmed Yameen - Member
• Adam Manik - Member

The appointment of members to other 11 SOEs announced by PCB include;

• Ali Farish - Bank of Maldives (BML)
• Mohamed Maiz Munaz - SME Development Finance Corporation (SDFC)
• Mohamed Saeed - Fahi Dhiriulhun Corporation (FDC)
• Ahmed Siraj - Maldives Islamic Bank (MIB)
• Aishath Wafaa Mohamed Manik - Regional Airports Company Limited (RACL)
• Shazna Mohamed and Zulaiha Yumi Rasheed - Maldives Industrial Fisheries Company Limited (MIFCO)
• Ali Mausoom - Business Center Corporation (BCC)
• Hassan Miras - Maldives Air Traffic Services Limited
• Yoosuf Waheed - State Electric Company Limited (STELCO)

Additionally, PCB appointed Mohamed Waheed Hussain as the new Managing Director to Addu International Airport, and Mohamed Rasheed Ibrahim Rasheed as the Chairman of Maldives Hajj Corporation.
