MTCC contracted to build airport in Dhidhdhoo

Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has been contracted to build an airport in HA. Dhidhdhoo.

The agreement was signed by State Minister for Construction Ismail Hamed and MTCC’s CEO Abdulla Ziyad on Friday.

The scope of the project covers:

  • Construction of 1,500-meter runway;
  • 60,939- square meter asphalt area;
  • 4,550-meter perimeter fence;
  • Construction of a passenger terminal building;
  • Construction of a fire building;
  • Construction of an admin office building;

And, the installation of fire pond and airfield lighting system.

The value of the project is MVR 257.21 million.
