Elderly man found dead in Gan

An elderly man has been found dead in a beach in L. Gan.

According to the police, the man, identified as an 86-year-old local, was found dead in the beach area to the east of Mathimaradhoo district.

The case was reported to the police at 12:15 pm on Saturday.

The police, quoting officials from the Gan Regional Hospital, said the man was already deceased when taken to the hospital.

The case is under investigation by the police.
